Downloading ringtones to a Motorola V80This brief tutorial outlines how to download mp3 ringtones from MotoMail.co.uk on Motorola phones. It's really easy and should point you in the right direction! |

Step 1: From your phones main menu, access the Browser feature. |

Step 2: After the browser has opened, press the Options or Menu select button on your phone and select the "Go to URL" feature. This may also be called "Go to web address" or something similar. |

Step 3: Browse MotoMail.co.uk and find the ringtone you wish to download. From the page where you can preview the ringtone, click the Download from my phone button. You will see a web address that starts with motomail.co.uk/get/, enter this address into your phone and press the OK button. |

Step 4: The ringtone should now begin to download. You may have to accept a conformation message before it downloads, this is perfectly normal. Alternatively, you may need to select the Save option before the ringtone starts downloading. |

Step 5: After the ringotne has finished downloading, you will be able to store it (if you havn't already) and set it as your new ringtone. Please refer to your phones manual if you are unsure how to assign a ringtone. |

Step 1: From your phones main menu, access the Web or Browser feature. |

Step 4: If you havn't yet selected how you want to access the internet, select your preferred connection from the list. In this tutorial, the phone is using the Orange network provider (UK). Select the Internet option (Orange Internet in this case)/ GPRS option or WAP option to connect to the internet. It won't matter which one you choose, but Internet is usually the best option, followed by GPRS and then WAP. If you are using a Nokia N95 and can connect to a wireless network, select Search for WLAN to find the wireless network - this will avoid any charges which you may incur from your network provider. |

Step 5: After a few seconds the phone will be connected to the internet and will have located the ringtone on MotoMail.co.uk. It might start downloading automatically or you may need to confirm the download, as shown in the opposite image. |

Step 5: The ringtone will now download. On newer Nokia phones, you'll see how much of the ringtone has downloaded. The download could take anything from 10 seconds to 5 minutes, based on the speed of the internet connection from your phone and the strength of the signal. |
